Meet our team
You will be working with travel enthusiasts who love New Zealand and Australia. Some of our team members were born and raised there, while others have lived, worked, and travel there extensively. And our founder, Andrew Morten, is a Kiwi with over 15 years experience in the travel industry. So, without further ado, it’s time for an introduction:

Hi, I’m Andrew Morten, the founder of TravelEssence. I was born in New Zealand and have been at the forefront of unique travel through Australia and New Zealand for almost 30 years.

For me, New Zealand will always be home. I was lucky enough to grow up on Waiheke Island in New Zealand, where I spent the first 30 years of my life exploring what this beautiful country has to offer. As I travel and see more of the world, I realise just how truly unique and special New Zealand is.
When I moved to Europe in 2016, I became a part of the TravelEssence team as the Product Manager. I recently just moved back to New Zealand and still work on the product team locally.
